On this night we had Mike Dunn scheduled to play but on this night he was a no show. No sweat at all. I had more that enough music to handle the night. Also earlier in the week I decided that on Dec 6 (My Bday party & Sagitarius Celebration) will be my last night as a resident. The reason for this is becasue I have come to a point at Betty's where I feel it is time to move on. I have learned what I needed to know and it's time to concetrate on music production and out of town gigs. No disrepect at all to the people who I have wked with and for @ Betty's. I will contunue to upload mixes to this site from live gigs as well as my smooth agent sessions mixes. Earlier on this week I had to do a mix of wbmx classic for a friend of mine. Through the years I have collected a lot of this music and back at that time I played this music as well. Now that I am a little older and a lot more seasoned in djing I had to aproach this from a different perspective. With the new music I can easily freestyle becasue I play this music all the time but for some of these classics that I have not played in years I could not just jump in so I had to relearn some of these records all over. I am glad that I was given this task becasue it really made me focus deeply on some of the 80's best dance grooves. When I got to Betty's on this night I was still in the mood for this style of music. Also I have a lot of downtempo new music that I never played at Betty's. Here is the music from that night. I will later post the mix I did for my friend or I should say my big brother from another mother Wallace. The music of that mix is a lil different from the music here. Much thanks for all who were here at this time it really was a dance party with hoop and hollas..

This was a special night at Betty's. We held our year end party as a tribute to Red Dog feat. Red Dog residents Lil John & Johnny Fiasco. Unfortunatly Johnny could not make the date. Mark Grant was called in to replace him. Mark was also a resident at Red Dog on Monday nights for the Boom Boom room party. I was a frequent vistor of Red Dog during the 90's. This mix features some of the music that was played during that time. A few other songs were played in this mix as well. The majority is red dog cutz. For the mixes we were only able to record 3hrs of the night due to problems with the recording device. We oly got my mix and some of Mark Grants mix. The cool thing about this night was that it was jam packed. People were dancing from song number 1. This was a night that should have not been missed!
